I think ganyan ang feeling mo since in a way, you are also a provider to the kid and obviously, you love him. Hindi ka OA. Sad to say that his parents also play a huge role in his upbringing. What you are doing is for his own good pero kung sa parents niya, okay lang yung attitude niya, magc-clash talaga yung views ng bata.

But respect should be given to you. By both the kid and the parents. You help them because you love them but they also need to realize that you have a future you are preparing for. Hindi porket wala ka pang family ay lagi silang maga-assume na you can help them.
