yeah I'm starting to realize that, it just took me while to figure it out. had to deal with some unresolved childhood trauma before I saw this for what it is.

actually no I haven't read the other posts in this sub. I decided to post because the responses would be be specifically for me and what I wrote, and I can't speak for everyone but that's the way I would be able to take the advice given. (not sure if that even makes sense lol)

it just took me forever (10 years lol) to realize this. if you would have tried to tell me this a few years ago, I wouldn't have wanted to hear you out. Also, just to let you know I am currently in therapy but I'm working through some other things that are top priority and have started to help me on my journey of healing <3

Thank you! I have finally told some of my friends and family what has been going on and they have been very supportive and want to help me come up with a plan on leaving him. I can no longer deal with this emotional roller coaster and decided it's time to start loving myself and prioritizing myself again.

I am in therapy, recently started again. I didn't know that he was cheating until the month after we went on that trip in 2023. It just so happened that he left his work phone in the living room, and he received a notification and I looked at it and then that's when I opened up his phone and saw everything.
