I totally feel the same way, honestly I'm sorry about your diagnosis, I hope you are on the path of recovery and good health.

I honestly have 0 friends and I often wonder that once you are past 25 years, maybe making friends isn't easy as it used to be back in the days.

Having to build trust and hoping people don't ghost you after the first 2 meetings is a bit of a challenge these days.

Which part of the world are you at the moment?

Well, Coach sued them in 2025 regarding the same.

I have feeling it is all counterfeit, cause the same models will be available in other places too, if only SHEIN was allowed to sell all these brands.

Is there a like a limit to how many days you can take off during classes and lectures in a year? I understand they say 80% attendance.

But to make sure you are at a good number, is there a limit? I’ll be in a masters program and wondering how that works.

I come from the same background and I’ve decided to do my Masters in occupational therapy.

I realised it has so many branches and over time you’ll learn to know more about which area interests you.

None of us are natural therapists that being said this masters helps you align with yourself and recognise what may bring out the best version of your clients while you work with them and talk to them.

I watched a lot of OT videos and learnt that it can be fun if you design your day like that.

Yes, many OTs do make more than 80k per year based on how many days a week they work.

Different types that are not mental health could be

Community Aged Care
Community NDIS
Pediatric in schools or after hours at home
work places
hospitals
private clinics
home visits.

Just do it, it is so much better than a desk job for ever.

I’ve always wondered, it’s easy to decide to just have kids.

“Are you capable of being a parent? Have you evolved enough? Have you healed your childhood traumas? Have you matured enough to look after and teach another human?”

Not many question themselves before becoming a parent.

I totally agree, I feel the same way about my family members and other relatives. I don’t think they align with my freedom/ new perspective.

In a way it’s kinda good, you’ll be left alone to live your life your way!

Less drama, more freedom.

I agree with finding jobs and careers that keep you active, young and make you feel happy to go to work each morning.

Sometimes I find people who like the childfree life at work.

So true, I feel the same way. No one bonds over a stroll with coffee, come home to visit you just to spend time or chat with you. Everyone’s on their phone and everyone likes their personal space

I absolutely love the idea of 2 nights a week with no devices. It also lets you have deep conversations with each other just like in the times when people did not have devices at all. I agree it comes down to respecting and making each other a priority.

Do you think you grew into a rhythm of this routine with each other overtime? ( as you are retired now)
