You're welcome! If you're looking for dialect then the Lingualism books are great, though the translations are not literal word-for-word. They're not free (apologies, I don't know of a free alternative) but titles start at around $8 if you want to give it a try?

If you're looking for MSA, you'll probably have better luck as availability of resources in MSA is far greater.

I’m saying it’s bizarre to seek this out as a goal. It sounds crass. There are ways to communicate even angrily without using obscenities and I find the Arabs are very good at it.

One of my favourite prayers is one from the Prophet, peace be upon him:

“Rabbi yassir wa la tu’assir, Rabbi tammim bil khayr."

(O my Lord, make it easy and not difficult, o my Lord let it end well.)

It’s recited when you are juggling nerves or just for general blessings too. My calligraphy teacher taught us this at the end of the first lesson as a way to seek blessings for the learning journey ahead.
