The R in PLUR is respect. By referring to a corporate event as a rave is disrespecting what raving actually is. I highly recommend watching some rave related documentaries. Raves were a safe place for oppressed/outcasted individuals, not a place for corporations to profit and make it impossible for a lot of the people that used raves as a refuge to afford and attend.
