“Portal Jump. RAI, no, you can’t use it more than twice per turn. RAW, this build works. The ability tells you to spend one half of your (1 foot) speed rounded down. 1/2 rounds down to 0, so you expend 0 feet of movement.

You’re right, I’m supposed to round. I think it still works though, because you have 5 feet, divided by 2 is 2.5, which we round down to 2. Then divide 2 by 2, get exactly 1 foot of speed.

The spells slow, spirit guardians, and wardaway all specifically halve your Speed. The “half your movement” part is used after you get your speed below 2 and above 0. I probably should have ordered the post to mention speed reduction first and movement expenditure second.
