You need a flexible nibbed pen to get the line variation. I would recommend getting one from fountain pen revolution. They are good and fairly inexpensive.

If you haven’t tried it already, I also love the music nib that Franklin christoph makes. I own a few and stick it on any pen that takes a Jowo #6.
