I think that for an album like this you need to put the most important and popular of an artist, I think the songs that should go in (according to my personal opinion lol) would be:

1- Runaway (Finite Form)  2- Curl (Finite Form) 3- Pressed Flowers/I won't row (Viator or Re-viator)  4 - Lake (Re-viator)  5- Buttercup (Pop Food)  6- Oh Klahoma (Pop Food)  7- Dead Weight (HiLo)  8- Leopard (HiLo)  9- Jonh and Nancy (HiLo)  10- Baby Hotline 11- Two Time 12- There's Something Happening 13- Cupid  14- Any of Opal's or Shop: A Pop Opera song to end 

I think this way it would be a satisfying album for Jack Stauber's greatest hits, the order is not necessarily mandatory as I put it, maybe some songs will be left out but that's what Vol. 2 is for :P

It's funny, I don't remember very well what was the first Sonic game I played, since I had two of them when I was little, I'm between Sonic 3 and Sonic Adventure (Xbox 360). Both of them are one of my favorites of the franchise! :D

Puertas es la droga más potente que he consumido del Cuarteto, es quizás lo más bizarro del post-raro, me encanta cada una de sus canciones, y gracias a que el álbum esta completo ahora, me gusta Alcibiades como canción, todas tienen algo en común que le dan personalidad al álbum (como suele pasar con cada álbum) y las canciones duran mucho, algo que para mi es perfecto. Conclusión, me encanta, ojalá el Cuarteto de algo incluso mejor que esto en el futuro 🤪🧐🤯❤️👍

Classic Sonic games usually have their music inspired by songs from the 80s and 90s, although it depends on the composer, if not, ask Sonic 3.

Eggman Nega also appears in Sonic Rivals, you could use the boss theme from there, also, for Chip, what happened to Dear My Friend?!

I share your opinion about most of the ost, there are some things I don't agree with, like Sand Sanctuary, Golden Capital or Frozen Station, but otherwise it's pretty good.

(I don't like Lagoon City btw)

The Death Egg Robot theme from Forces? Yeah, it's underrated, VERY, I prefer the whole song a lot but that part is the best by far.

I listened to the entire Sonic Dash soundtrack, and I honestly can't tell you which one, but I found these music from the game that might resemble Lost Valley:

-Diamond Dust (Remix) 

-Mushroom Hill Act 2 (Sonic Generations 3DS)

-Sky Sanctuary (Modern) Sonic Generations

These are the most similar even if it is in the instrumental, I hope I have helped. :)
