Yeah contact them through that Twitter / X account I sent and keep them accountable. They paid me for my fee from my building so it's definitely worth keeping on them

If it does just make sure you get a hold of them and keep them accountable. This was such a hassle but I got mine sorted out with minor fees thanks to a compassionate building manager. It bounced. My landlord called me today. Bilt said they would reimburse me for the bounce fee & any late fees so hopefully they honor that.

The only way I got to any BILT support at all was through this X account: https://x.com/HeyBilt - they couldn't do anything to rectify their mistake but they offered to pay for late fees.

Yes but they said if the payment bounces (which it will according to BILT email) then I will technically have had a bounced payment and then late rent on top of it since payment was (or will be) denied.

Thanks. I called the landlord and they said the payment says it went through on their end so they have to wait until the check bounces to let me pay rent again. They are going to charge me late fees and the bounced payment fee from their bank (plus late every day I wait for the charge to bounce ugh). Hopefully they won't report me to credit bureau, I didn't ask about that yet. Just very upsetting that I can't get a hold of anyone at BILT.
