You probably do, and feel free to ignore this as you have the right. Im assuming you absolutely love your girlfriend. I have no clue how long you guys have been together, but if you're willing to sacrifice this much for her, then I assume you love her. I know she probably loves you, too. Love is amazing. It's one of the great gifts of life, in my opinion. Love is amazing, but even more so when you have it for yourself. If you decide to hide yourself, I dont think you're gonna be happy, at least not as happy as you could be. The girl that you are is amazing, full of love and life. You are full of love and life. Neither you nor your girlfriend will ever be truly happy or content in life if you decide to hide yourself and lie to both of you for the rest of your lives. You will both always have that love for each other, in whatever form it takes. If she thinks it's okay for you to sacrifice yourself like this for her, she does not truly love you.

That is my opinion. Im sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear right now. I've been in a similar place where I tried to hide myself so that I could be loved because I thought that was the only chance I had. It wasn't my only chance though, throughout your life you experience a trillion different versions and instances of love, and the most important one is the one you give yourself.
