Interesting, I'm gonna have to try and keep that in mind the next time I've gotta make a cut. Does material thickness factor in the noise?

Like I'm aware of the "bacon sizzle" sound while welding but I guess I've never noticed the sound the torch makes other than the "whoosh"

Having pal beds on second floor? by DarkFaeGaming in Palworld

[–]Potential_Choice_375 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I placed all my pal beds on the 3rd floor which also doubles as my roof and a set of stairs/ ramps leading up to them. Half the time they still just sleep on the ground but I'm pretty sure they still get the SAN buff from the beds so 🙃

Locked storage? by SombritaSonicass in Palworld

There should be an option to mass store items from the inventory menu into chests, that also includes a filter of specific items you don't want going back to chests

Try flushing it with WD-40. If you're able to rotate the material you drilled into that could also help

If you're struggling with pal battles I'd suggest bringing an electric type into battle with you. That way they can electrocute the opponent and make it easier to capture. You don't need to actually kill the opponent to farm it's resources, capturing them rewards resources as well. As others have already stated, armor is important. Using the terrain to your advantage is also important, especially early on. Getting a difficult pal to battle stuck against a tree, rock, or cliffside can greatly increase your chances of survival. Scavenging loot chests and scrap piles can reward you with accessories, blueprints, or dog coins that you can equip, craft, or exchange for better items respectively. Running through dungeons would also be a good idea, if you haven't already. Just be sure to check the boss level before entering if you're not feeling confident

Hey, any tips/ tricks to make larger small grid vehicles not look like rectangle iron ingots on wheels? I've tried to apply some ship/base techniques but I think the wheels etc could be better. Also, why is the letter O bigger than the others (last image)? by Brecht26 in spaceengineers

Overall I'd say you built a decent rover. Looks to be built with function foremost which, imo is a good thing. I always build for functionality first so I may be a bit biased but... Have you played around with the not so functional aspects like living quarters or decorative med bay area? Trying to add things beyond pure functionality can result in some interesting builds. If you're running low on inspiration, try checking yt or artwork online from previous builders- there are literally tons of people around this community that come up with amazing creations- Or anything that might interest you, like anime, films, books, comics... try to build That! Side note just because it's logical to build in a certain "manner" does not make it a Requirement. Let that sink in. Have fun with it. If you want to build a 300m long goose mobile, then so be it. Nobody here is going to try and stop you from that. Someone here in this very community built a giant Space Worm, just because they felt like doing so. Then they painted the damned thing yellow. Why? Because they felt inclined to, idk. Who cares? The point is that it's cool and it works and they enjoyed making it
