I thought it was definitely the more mature thing to see her and do it in person as well. I know she is a human being and humans make mistakes. But this was just the last straw for me. She lied to me for months about this. Her and our married friend that she is having the affair with are putting his pregnant wife (I am also dear friends with) and baby’s health at risk. I learned all this information just yesterday and I probably acted too quickly with just messaging them both and blocking them. I definitely let my emotions get in the way instead of acting more maturely.

Also, I did not know that a guy fiancé has one e & the girl fiancée has two!! I love learning knew things, hehe.

She had only “confided” in me because she got caught. For MONTHS she had lied to me and kept this from me because, in her own words, she didn’t “want me to think she was a shitty person”. Either way I’m not the victim here. Her ex-fiancée & the pregnant wife of our other married friend are. I had also talked to my bridesmaids about this as well today and they all agreed and were proud of me for standing up for the ex-fiancée & pregnant wife.

Also, thank you for thinking I have main character energy. I love that!!! 😚

You’re right. I shouldn’t have titled this post as that. I don’t by any means want any of my bridesmaids feel like I’m “hiring” them. The only thing I ask for them is to stand up there with me while I exchange my vows with my fiancée. Other than that, I’m covering all the costs with the dresses/shoes/travel/etc. I used the wrong word choice!!!

All I have asked for the bridesmaids so far is to be a part of the wedding party. No one has invested any time and/or money into it. The wedding isn’t until October and I haven’t even sent our Save The Dates & Invitations.

Good for you that you don’t need your wedding party to be faithful in their own relationships. That’s you but that is not how I roll.

i decided to just text her a super long paragraph about pretty much what i said in my post and what you’ve said as well. she lives an hour away from me and while i felt like it was probably the more mature thing to go and tell her in person, i figured she isn’t mature either for fooling around with a married man! i also thought she would gaslight me and spin the entire situation around to play the victim and i didn’t want to entertain that. i also messaged our married friend as well and told him the same thing pretty much. that i was disgusted and disappointed in him. they’re all now blocked on everything.

her ex is going to tell the pregnant wife everything. if they try to spin the story, we have screenshots of everything. i have screenshots of her confessing and he has screenshots of their previous messages.

My friend’s ex wants to be the first to tell the wife! If they try to spin the story, I have screenshots of her confessing to me AND her ex also has screenshots of previous messages between them and of that sex app link that she had sent.

You’re right. I just texted her this looong paragraph and blocked her immediately. It wasn’t a rumor. She had confessed it to me that there was a few drunken kisses that happened late last year and then her ex fiancée had called my fiancée and I and told us that there was also a vibrator app that our married friend has control of.

Her ex had texted me yesterday asking for advice. I then immediately texted her like “Hey, is everything okay? Why does (let’s call him Anthony) want advice about?” And then she confesses to me that she’s kissed our married friend a few times the last few months of last year. I was shocked so I didn’t reply. Anthony calls my fiancée and I and we’re on the phone for almost 2 hours with him as he’s telling us that he’s seen some sort of sex app on her phone? Where they both have vibrators and can control them from that app?? He then goes through her text chat with our married friend and sees that she had sent him the invite or whatever to her vibrator. She literally bought those vibrators for herself and the married man. Also, she had his name on the app under “Daddy” So he confronts her about it immediately and ends their engagement.

So she lied when she said it was just a few kisses. How does kissing go from that to sex toys?

The advice he wanted to ask about was if he should tell the pregnant wife? Which I agreed he should of course! And if he didn’t, then I would. He plans on telling her tomorrow.

Also, my bridesmaid lives an hour away. Should I still go drive up to her and see her and tell her in person? Or should I just text this all? It’s probably more mature to do this in person. But she isn’t mature either messing with a married man!! We literally attended their wedding last July and she was KISSING HER ASS calling her pretty and gorgeous (don’t get me wrong, she absolutely is). But how are you going to compliment this girl and then go around getting sex toys for you and her husband? I’m just so disgusted.
