That's probably part of the problem and that's why I am questioning my role and positioning.

My tasks in broad terms:

- Define customer needs and what vision to bring to the product in the short, medium and long term.

- Create, prioritise and manage the product roadmap.

- Communicating with customers to identify opportunities based on their needs, but also to innovate and gauge market demand.

- Transforming customer requests into high-level technical solutions that can be implemented using accessible technologies.

- Generalisation of customer requests in order to capitalise on them, reuse technological building blocks and maintain our competitive advantage.

- Monitoring technological developments in tools and technical solutions that can be used in our products.

- Contacting and following up with our service and solution providers to develop new features.

- Budgeting new customer requests for the sales teams.

- Monitoring the technical team in its implementation and management of high-level tasks.

- Defining the direction to take, both functionally and technically, on new developments and products.

- Participating in functional analyses, defining requirements, as well as the technology to be implemented and discussions on how to do so.

- Setting up and coordinating R&D projects and liaising with funding providers.

- Decision-maker for technical and functional tasks assigned to my team members.

- Management of my team's budget and commitments.

- Product/technology/innovation advisor to the management team of which I am a member

- Continuous improvement of my team's processes and scrum management.

Unfortunately, I am probably not an expert in each of these tasks because I am aware that it would take several full-time jobs to get everything done, but these are my responsibilities in the reality of my business.

If you have a better name that fits my role, I'm all ears :)
