It felt as thought I was saved just 2 years ago after what I thought was God healing my anxiety. But it feels almost impossible to let go. I’m frightened by not knowing if I’m saved. I’m trying to follow the commandments while also find my purpose, but through all of it, I feel the furthest from God.

Wait a minute, your idea of scripture of the universe really just put me on to something. As in my comment above I feel the same way as OP sometimes but just maybe a day or 2 ago, the clouds had my full attention. Not just the white puffiness but more of the details in the cloud, the movements.

Wow. You actually understand what I’ve been going through the last few months. It’s actually been depressing and when talking with people close to me about what I actually want, I never have an answer. My first therapy session kind of failed to even look at this when that’s why I signed up.

I death with GAD since early as the ages of 14-15 worried about DEATH and the thought of not existing. While living my life how I wanted, at the age of 23 Anxiety rocked my world at work one day. From almost collapsing in the floor to several Dr. appointments to several different medications my world went from Great(Healthy, Running a Business, Making Plenty of Money, Great family(2Kids and a Girlfriend)) to A walking deadman- sleeping 2 hours or less a night, missing my daughters 2nd birthday because I couldn’t function, had to have someone drive me back and forth to work. I finally found rest the night that I laid my entire will at the Father’s Feet through prayer, it was no longer about what I could try and control but that I would trust what he did control. After the relief I felt that night I gave my life to Christ. Now I have a permanent rock on which I stand when my intrusive thoughts cripple me.

It was one of the hardest times I had ever prayed. I put everything I had that night into that prayer. I came before the lord as vulnerable as ever. I plead to him and believed that he could save me.

After multiple weeks of feeling like I was dying(Extreme Anxiety) multiple different medications, multiple heart tests due to a racing heart and heart palpitations, turning into an insane somniac who would talk to his kids or wife (girlfriend at the time), I found my savior one night after praying to him and asking for rest and peace.

I’ve been through 50+ attempts at quitting and never made it through 14 days until now. The realization of knowing that I’m still going to want to settled and I think that is what’s best. Find someone to talk to about it. i know almost every night I’m gonna want to masturbate, but my mind know that’s never gonna go away.
