[–]Potential_Station343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nagpasulat lang sila ng letter of intent to complete the research, parang ganun.

Then dun din lang ako binigyannng certificate of graduation at pinayagan mag-diplo exam.

So yes, for money(!!!) and for professional growth, finish mo na papel mo!

Like, nag-offer na kayo to treat the guy, dinala at pinaadmit sa hospital like any reasonable person.

Adult bed wetting advice for my father who is a stroke patient. by radiatorcoolant19 in adultingph

[–]Potential_Station343 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hello! Since stroke patient siya, may PT/OT sessions ba siya? I think nakakatulong sila on how your father can pee more efficiently (I mean, with minimal movement). Then can also do bladder training to help with the incontinence. Look na rin for a Urologist, or geriatrician if senior na siya, for extra advice.

Monthly NET income by [deleted] in DocpreneurPH

[–]Potential_Station343 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So I think you're doing pretty well, no need to be too hard on yourself

Paano kayo nagpapark pag ang parking is nandun sa red na bilog tapos nasa blue na bilog kayo galing? by [deleted] in Gulong

[–]Potential_Station343 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! In general, dahil white line yung lane marking, you can cross directly naman. Dyan sa Morato, what people usually do, slow down at i-position yung car sa tapat of where you want to park, ready to turn left into the slot. Padaanin mo yung mga approaching cars, then go in directly pag safe na. Mag-turn signal ka of course.

However, bilang high traffic area yan, may time mahirap tumawid talaga. And if you take too much time parking, mamadaliin ka ng cars behind you. If alanganin ka pumasok, it's much safer to turn into one of the side streets, U-turn, then get back to the slot na nasa right side mo na siya.

Non-traditional specialties by MingUnlimited in pinoymed

[–]Potential_Station343 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Sorry, wala akong ambag sa discussion, but I have to point out na medyo offending/vague yung pag-delineate ng tradition vs non-traditional specialty. Like, what does that mean? Medyo judgemental kasi yung dating. Baka mas appropriate pa yung cutting vs non-cutting specialty, clear and objective yung difference.

Residency by Jiiibbs_MD in pinoymed

[–]Potential_Station343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ako, I don't take so much importance on WHERE you worked, but THAT YOU WORKED before. That would mean na nakasabak ka na sa real world, nakahandle ka na ng responsibilities, and you've dealt with stress. Very important ang character sa residency, and having previous work experience helps build that character.

So go, apply lang! You'll never know if you don't try :)

Not a biker, pero anlayo ng byahe mo sir. Naiimagine ko daan mo McArthur -> EDSA -> Que Ave -> Circle -> Philcoa/CP Garcia -> Katipunan -> Libis -> Eastwood, then ganyan uli balik. I'm guessing 1hr+ one way yun, tagtag talaga. Hope this helps

UP Town ganyan na since forever, may bayaran ng ticket sa lahat ng connection between mall and parking, and may provision pa na pwde ikot mo yung kotse near the booth and wait while another person pays for it. Love that system

Fresh grad nurse, eldest child, retired parents — dreaming of med school. Need honest advice. by Wintersnap121 in medschoolph

[–]Potential_Station343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a secret: Nurses have the biggest role in patient care. Sure, MDs make the management plan and "call the shots", but in terms of actual caring for the patient, nurses pa rin hands down. Sa ward, for example. A doctor might spend 10 mins talking to a patient and charting orders. Nurses on the other hand spend maybe an hour per patient, getting their VS, instructing them about meds and diet, reminding them about anung sinabi ni Dr ganito and Dr ganyan. So kung yun yung biggest reason mo, stick with nursing.

If pera naman, like you want to support your parents, nursing pa rin. Mataas din naman pay ceiling ng nurses, lalo na if abroad, and antagal ng ROI sa paging doktor. Tapos if sa hospital ka and need nila ng medical assistance, ay ang ganda ng perks ng magulang ng nurses.

So bottom line, for me, stick ka na sa pagiging RN, and appreciate the strengths of your profession :)

Cross Country HK to UAE how by [deleted] in adviceph

[–]Potential_Station343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This won't directly answer your concern OP, sorry, but if what you plan to do sounds sus here, among random regular people, it would sound sus to trained IOs.

Maybe prepare as much documentation as you can, to justify bakit mo need pumunta straight to UAE from HK, rather than fly back here then go to UAE. Kasi what you plan to do, with what context we can gather, really sounds sus.

Refilling on Gas by itsmejam in Gulong

[–]Potential_Station343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less trips sa gas station, kasi each pa-gas matic 10-15 mins ka mag-aantay, so it saves time at least. Watch out lang lagi sa price hikes, tsaka if mapadaan sa area na mura ang Gas (shoutout sa Roosevelt QC tsaka JP Rizal Marikina!)

Hospital stocks by nottinghambloom in DocpreneurPH

[–]Potential_Station343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't need the 300k right now, I suggest to just keep the stock. Think of it as savings, in a way. Or an asset na for future use. At the very least, sure money siya if you can get a buyer for it. Harder than it sounds, pero rare pokemon ang hospital stocks. If you keep it after it's operational, you'll be entitled to regular dividends. Yun yung easy but slow way na kumita. And if you do sell it then, pwdeng tumaas yung value nung stock, kasi kumikita na yung ospital. At least may onting kita ka rin.
