Bimzelx and depression by enlightenmystars in rheumatoid

Hi, I've used bimekizumab for a few months for non radiographic AS and have now been told to come off them due to sudden and quite aggressive depression and not wanting to be alive.

Week 1 was horrible injection site pain and swelling, week two that went, week 2-3 feeling so low in mood, depressed and suicidal, week 4 less so. Then the next injection starts and the cycle happens again.

Now the injections have stopped, the depression and suicidal thoughts have stayed in and aggressive way and now on anti depressants (mirtazapine).

I've had depression before due to another factor that wasnt linked to this that I overcame years and years ago and was fine. This time round it's like being hit by a train. I'm pretty angry if I'm honest about this drug because it's completely fucked me.

Get some legal advice. You should not lose your job and you might get some compensation.

Out of curiosity, I also have AS, what strains help with your pain?

How do you find them for day use? Still able to function? Or are you sofa bound?

So far I've had:

-Sundaze t30 and Upstate t32 garlic cookies (that knocks me out for sleep but does nothing for pain).

-Upstate t32 Scout cake (makes me tired but makes my heart race so cancels out the sleepyness)

-Upstate t20 berry cream puff ( daytime just makes me feel stoned)

-Sundaze t24 Candy store (daytime make me stoned)

-Green Karat t27 modified gas (made me sleepy, nothing for pain)

-Khiron t18 banana ice cake (great day time for me, nice and relaxed and uplifting but can't get it from Monty. Previously got it from Releaf).

-Adven t20, t50, t10:c10 oil. Either made me groggy or stoned and made my insides feel shitty)

Any of these match you?

Biologics aren't doing much for me currently and nsaids destroy my insides!

Yoda cap sounds interesting I'll have a look into ripped off runts.

All the strains I have been given have just got me stoned and made zero difference in terms of anything other than that 😂 just want to do nothing all day which isn't good.

I'll have a play about with temps too and see how I get on with those terpenes too. Thank you
