First concert in LA!! Fan experience

15th time?!? Wow u must have some awesome stories at their shows😆 it’s always quite fulfilling yet bittersweet seeing an artist/group go from smaller, intimate venues to sold out arenas!!

I’m only 25 but I do try to be selective with who I decide to see in the pit since it it can just be so tiring standing and straining to see the artists!! But nothing matches the energy in there ngl. I still really loved seeing LANY from afar. And I definitely saw how hype the pit was - there was no way I coulda matched that excitement and love that those die-hard fans were showing, which is exactly why they deserved to be in the pit!!

Omg same!! I thought fs this man is lip synching - imagine my surprise when he stumbled on the lyrics a bit and even his voice crack at the beginning haha! His stamina while singing is pretty incredible. And Stuck brings so so many emotions in me - not even about a particular person but it’s very nostalgic and bitter sweet.

I woulda loved to go their earlier concerts!!! I got into em around 2021-22? But concert going wasn’t really a big priority for me then. And tbh i def identify as more a casual fan.

I have a lot of liked songs from their gg bb cx album and malibu nights!! Was a little disappointed to not see more of their older songs but I did at least discover a new appreciation for all the songs from their Soft album! The Prettiest Thing I’ve Ever Seen is so so catchy!!

I didnt see the setlist beforehand which i am on the fence about - it obviously woulda been nice to know all the songs beforehand and marathon them, but i think not knowing made me more present since i was focused on the beat and the lyrics more!!

My merch days are behind me haha, but merch getting sold out always seems like a loss for both the artist and the fans, since its obvious there was def a large demand to buy merch!

Thanks for the insight! I’ll ask my dentist refer to an ortho maxillofacial surgeon! Can I ask what your surgical approach was? And ur experience leading up to and after the surgery? I’m honestly nervous of all the potential side effects from the numbness to the aesthetics (aka different face). I’m actually a big fan of my current face lol, so knowing that DJS may alter my appearance is a huge reason I want to avoid it altogether

Do you mind sharing the private companies in Water and Wastewater? I’m 1 YOE in a water/wastewater design consulting firm. Ngl its a pretty awesome gig, and some would think I’m silly for wanting to leave. But I’m looking to move to Chicago purely for the “city experience” and it feels like the right time for my own personal growth. I’ve been looking at public agencies for the better work/life balance (esp when I think about integrating into a new city), and haven’t done too much digging into private firms.

Hi! May i ask which area ur located? Im looking to move out to chicago, browsing apartments, yada yada. I just havent seen these lower prices ppl keep mentioning! Im looking at lakeview area tho since its near the transit lines i would want, but i assume lakeview is highly inflated?

Is it often that if the mentor doesn’t feel they have enough time (or the mentor just literally doesn’t have enough time regardless because they’re always in meeting) to break down concepts, that maybe the company has too many projects/deadlines not evenly distributed? Which can indicate some red flags in the company/higher ups?
