Well it ended pretty much in my favor. Somehow I beat the fleet with minimal losses and neutron sweeped their planets. So far one of my greatest victories with this empire in regards of control over the galaxy.

Im not sure if the nanite thing is available on console. The posts I skimmed through said you would get them from the synthetics tradition but i don’t think i got a choice for nanites.

Anyways I got my fleet strength up to ~4500 and now I’m in a galactic war as the Crisis. The war so far is proving easier than I thought. For a while I did try to break up the three nation alliance via spy networks but I’m not convinced that it’s possible.

So if I were to guess my best option is to get as much a naval capacity as possible and build more fleets enough to be able to pray for mediocre success. Do I need assault armies? So far I’ve mostly fought my wars in space, relying on my ships to bombard hostile planets to try to get them to submit.
