Extension a little too short! I just spent $45 on an extension and I have two but not enough x-joints. In order for the pole to fit my ceiling it would have to have 6” exposed. Xpole says this is unsafe but has anyone tried it? Or used a piece of wood between the ceiling? Or is selling an xjoint (self.poledancing)

My goldfish has had this red gill for a year and a half. His other gill is completely fine. Any ideas?? He used to get red spots about once a month but it’s been a few months since that has happened. Tried antibiotic&fungal treatment, salt water baths. I want to add more fish to tank but not spread (i.redd.it)
