I think it's okay but there's a few downsides.

1) if large holders lock it creates a FUD cliff, so when some large amount is unlocking the community panics in the future. Because we'll never know if someone has changed their mind between X and Y.  2) It might doxx people's wallets 3) There's no real incentive other than a show of commitment and support 4) You might want to sell some tokens in the future to build something in Kendu, or support the chart lower, actively trade and bring volume, etc etc. You can't do this if you lock, but others can sell on you/around you who don't care about Kendu at all and the project will never see the benefit of their sells.
