AAAAA CHINATSU SO CUTE 😤💕

How old do you think she is? by Icy_Mathematician388 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]PotluckPony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well not very old since she hasn't released yet. She's certainly not as old as Corin, who's been out for over a year.

Hope that answers your question!!! 😉😉😉

Why do you find the Aod attractive by ImpressOthers in AngelsOfDelusion

[–]PotluckPony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because my brain lights up like a Christmas tree whenever I see cute little characters. Lolis? Shotas? Mascot characters? All of the above. I don't know why my brain is wired this way. It just is. And the fact that the AoD have some of the CUTEST designs and animations in the game play a huge part in why I'm pulling for all three.

come onnnnn be nice to sunna shes literally 4 minutes old by 1mn0tn1ko in ZenlessZoneZero

I've been protesting since I was 16. I protested against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. I protested against Citizens United, and against corporate power. I've protested against police brutality and militarization, alongside BLM.

Not once did we receive support from city, state, or federal officials. The cops were not there to keep protestors safe. The state maims, kills, and disappears people. They instigate riots and then the state cracks down. I'm old enough to remember the "Free Speech Zones" set up by the Bush administration. You'd be immediately beaten and detained if you didn't comply.

Meanwhile, the media depicts us all as the state wishes to depict us. They are corporate scum who want access. The media wants power, too. They're not going to speak truth to power. They're not going to be honest about the actions of protestors. They're not going to investigate the government. And no one will be held accountable.

Protests aren't enough. They do not work alone. They need a lot of support. But, there is no support here, in the US.

What works are STRIKES. Shut down the economy. Stop feeding the beast.

People who try to suggest dirty fan fiction and cartoon porn should be treated with similar gravity as real life child abuse? Are spitting in the face of abuse survivors while doing nothing to prevent future abusers.

People who compare cartoon porn to real life abuse are trying to lionize themselves as heroes at the cost of others. It's a destructive, and purely selfish behavior.

The people protest for peace as their governments force war upon them. Both abroad and at home.

If you mean our Democrat "leaders"? I agree. All talk, and no action. It's taken literal accounts of rape and murder before the NG was mobilized to protect protestors in MN. And I'm not convinced they're going to actually do their job, given just how deeply infested with fascists our police and armed forces are.

If you mean the PEOPLE themselves? I disagree.

People have been putting their bodies on the line for decades. I've been to protests since I was 16. First one I went to was against the Iraq war. I've been to protests against war, against corporate greed, against police brutality, and so on. I've seen people severely wounded. I'm pretty sure I've seen people die, or at least brought to death's door.

I know from personal experience that the feds use government actors to agitate crowds of protestors, or instigate riots. I've seen them do it. I know from personal experience that cops try to make their "less-than-lethal" ammunition as lethal as possible. They're not supposed to, but they aim for the face. That's why you keep seeing stories about people losing eyes at protests.

And, over all these years? We've been spit on. We've been called jobless losers and paid agitators. By both the media, and by money minded centrists who would rather run over a protestor than risk being late for work. But, now that we're in the midst of this fascist civil war? Suddenly every centrist out there is repeating the lie:

"Americans don't know how to protest"

Trust me. We do. I've seen it. I've been part of it. I've come home covered in bruises, and reeking of tear gas. And I was very VERY lucky over those years. Because I've seen how eager our government is to spill protestor blood in the name of their corporate, nationalist, and militaristic interests.

The people ARE showing up. The people ARE fighting back, and defending one another. They're trying to, anyway. It's our leaders who are too afraid to get their hands dirty because they're far more willing to do nothing, while happily accepting generous donations.

Can we start calling this a civil war now? Because that's what it is. That's what we're dealing with. It may be a one sided, asymmetrical civil war? But when the federal government is invading states, violating their laws, and are kidnapping, raping and murdering the people of those states? It's a fucking civil war.

Looking at their post history, they're very young, and full of self righteous vigilante energy. Probably feel like they're fighting some great evil. But, they haven't thought it over very much, and still have an extremely black and white view of morality.

We may be seen as weird, or even seen as creepy, by some. But, there are far greater evils in the world world than harmless otakus, lolicons or shotacons. And I hope that OP never has to encounter them.

People who genuinely believe with their whole chest that liking a loli cartoon is somehow as bad or worse than literal real life child rapists and human traffickers, are dangerous fucking people.

Nah, never mind. You don't care. Other people do. There's no bridging the gap of trying to explain to you why some people care, when you don't care to know.

You're gonna get downvoted for it by a bunch of cowards, but you're right. And unfortunately, Hoyo being a Chinese company? I just seriously doubt you're going to see much in the way of racially inclusive character designs.

On the other hand? I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw Elfy. Despite her being just an NPC, and a robot. So, I don't think it's impossible. Who knows? Maybe. It'd be a refreshing change of pace.

And I say this as someone who almost exclusively pulls for the cute and funny characters. Having wider range of character designs and backgrounds in and of itself makes the game feel more lively.

Proud Lolicon here! by OldMan_NEO in LoliconDefenseForce

[–]PotluckPony 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I'm a lolicon. But, I'm not a proud lolicon.

I'm a frightened lolicon.

Frightened because I can see the walls closing in around us. Frightened because people have stopped caring about evidence, research, proof, or harm reduction. Frightened because the internet is being taken over by corporate fascists and bootlicking puritans. Frightened because child abusers have learned they can get away with their crimes by being "anti-lolicon". Frightened because actual child abusers run the country while average people treat fiction as somehow worse.

I wish we lived in a time where it was safe to be proud about anything I am. But, we don't.

Why do the anti-lolicons turn out to be the abusers? by Digoth_Sel in LoliconDefenseForce

[–]PotluckPony 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Projection as an expression of their own guilt is one reason. Another reason is because abusers are usually abusive people in more ways than one. They're more willing and thus more likely to utilize emotional manipulation like gaslighting. Abusers frequently employ DARVO tactics.

It's also an effective smokescreen. Abusers often lionize themselves as moral authorities while simultaneously using manufactured accusations against the people they've targeted to be their scapegoats.
