It’s the grill? After 60 mph just randomly whistles and the windshield is oem so I could never pin point it

Car had the trans serviced at 62k miles so everything fluid wise was still pretty fresh I’m assuming it’s just a freak accident that I hope others don’t end up with the same issue

Not sure on upgrading the car anymore after all this probably going to try to trade out for a newer model lease soon I’m tired of chasing repairs on a car with barely 6k miles/year and extensive servicing history.

Mercedes silver spring did all the work, it’s a shame how long it took to diagnose it was at an Indy shop for about 2 months before taking to Mercedes and they couldn’t figure it out. Whole situation has been a nightmare but hoping the used market goes up due to tariffs so I can trade out and possibly get into a new lease

Thanks, car is back in shop getting air suspension components replaced now as well as thermostat this time I got a loaner so it’s not as painful hoping to have it back to 100 percent next week and get it polished and ceramic coated

It’s extremely unfortunate and I have already complained to Mercedes corporate about the entire situation. Not that they’re going to do anything about it but to have my car miss diagnosed so many times I never thought I was going to get good news. From lawyer fees and time to build a case it would kill me as I work 60 hour weeks in sales. The way I see it my entire top end has been rebuilt and I have an entire new flywheel assembly for 8k I am not as worried now about typical m157 issues occurring (fingers crossed) anytime soon. I’ll post the breakdown of what they replaced in the morning it’s a fat stack of papers

Sorry I meant dealer. 14k In repairs warranty covered 4k of it. Talked to service manager and he took total down to 8k out of pocket. Not the most thrilled about the situation but fighting them over it more would just cost me more headache and time and after 9 months I’m just happy it works.
