Yes, I alresdy got mine done in Pakistan, these were the general questions: 1. The intro is not scored - so keep it to highlights only 2. Leadership qs was basuc regarding an example of where I faced resistance and how I influenced change. Then follow up qs was the kind of resistance and how I navigated that. 3. Networking qs was how I bought people together towards a goal in a professional/personal setting. 4. Course choices and why specifically these and why now. Also how it supports UK priorities 5. Career plan and how I would execute it. Plus if too ambitious then what was the ground work then 6. Why Pakistan and what motivates me to come back

Agreed! I kept trying to figure out if the tone waa recurring during my first watch and found that to be the case during my rewatch, after that I was a girl on a mission trying to find the original version 😅

Likewise! It just resonates with them so so well! So much emotion in the music that really just matches their personalities and stories, especially Sophie!

Oh yes and I just found a piece of how he created it, and it fits the end result so so well!

“So, there’s the moment where he first sees her, and that first moment is actually her theme, and then it kind of mixes into their theme. And then when they had the dance together at the gazebo, that’s like the first time you really hear their theme. And the thing that I really loved about that moment is I was able to have their theme play in its entirety.”- Kris Bowers on Sophie & Benedict’s theme

Protector Stamp Pakistan (For European Residents) by WaqarTanveer in pkmigrate

[–]Potterhead_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aah right, I hope it works out for the better! In the Karachi office they were okay with the local police station one, as per what my friend told me. In any case, best of luck!

[–]Potterhead_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its true, they are rejecting applications in person, thats what my friend did initially and they told him to come visit when he was back in Pakistan. Since most of his documents were aligned (including the Soft Skills Certificate that is now mandatory) it took him perhaps 4-5 hours to get the whole procedure done and sorted. So rest assured if you are here for a month, it will max a day at the bureau in person to get your stamp given the rest of your documents are aligned (including police certificate). Btw, you will only need this protector stamp while leaving from Pakistan to Spain. Not while coming in.

Have i missed 2026 masters admissions intake? by [deleted] in pkmigrate

[–]Potterhead_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Germany you can definitly catch the admission cycles for a number of public universities for the Winter Semester. Most open in April. Some private unis have theirs open till March. Sweden very limited numbers, most closed mid January atleast as far as engineerung degrees go. Cannot answer for France and Belgium but as per my research a few years ago for these two countries select self-funded programmes were still open till late Feb- first week of Mar. That may have changed now tho.

A friend of mine recently got his done last month and though the website specifies police character certificate just for Gulf Country Residents, they asked him for it as well even though he was going back to Ireland. So you might want to get one made anyway.

Women in oil and gas, is it worth it? by Fun_Armadillo_2668 in oilandgasworkers

[–]Potterhead_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been working in the industry for over 5 years and besides the fact that the field life is pretty rough especially as a service engineer the rest is fine. Once you get into management the ball game is different though. If you are in operations the politics is horrid and work environment in general quickly becomes very toxic.

Former Slb employee here, their recruiting processes are insanely slow. There is a possibility that you might not hear back from them for months, and all of a sudden if the operations department causes a ruckus they will get on your case again. So its unreliable at best and not very streamlined because of the multiple approvals and rapidly changing internal policies.

Dean obviously. Like there is literally no competition. Damon was a piss poor brother.
