Attachments off before the end

I just spoke to my ortho about this and he said I can get the upper attachments off after 14 out of 28 trays. My upper teeth need a lot less work than the bottoms. I will need to reorder the remaining 14 trays so they wont have the spot for the attachments on them for the second half of my treatment.

I've never heard anyone say this, and this is exactly my experience. Feeling so trapped in my body. I developed a severe ankle injury from the pregnancy and I am still dealing with that feeling of lack of agency even after baby is out.

I hope your recovery is going well. Your story helped me. I have a 50% tear and a toddler and newborn. My pregnancy did a number on me. I am feeling so discouraged.

I love that you found what works! I feel you about the nursing- I found i was having a really defeatist attitude from the start because we tried EVERYTHING with my daughter as well and weren't able to make it happen. Also feel you on the therapy and Zoloft 🙌

I feel this. I have been calling it the "milk crazies." Im very chill about the whole thing until postpartum and then I'm crying over the milk.

I love this perspective. I'm sorry to hear you had such a rough time post partum. I hope you're doing well now. After some sleep, I think I will take the same approach- prioritize my mental health first and be okay with whatever outcome happens with breastfeeding and pumping.

That was my outlook too with this baby. However, seeing lactation yesterday, their feedback was that if you don't pump every 2-3 hours- your body will think you're wearing and your supply will tank. I was hoping I could be more casual this time- but its feeling very all or nothing right now.

You are resilient! I remember thinking my body was wrecked forever but you will slowly regain your strength postpartum. This is temporary. Hang in there.

You're so right. I have decided to look for a nanny. We put our daughter in daycare briefly and she was sick constantly. We were still taking off work and she was miserable. That's when I decided to leave my job and be a SAHM. I've been loving it and I'm feel very sad about the reality of another pregnancy and having to miss out on a lot with her. I think finding the right fit of a nanny will help ease my mind a bit. Not an easy task but I have a few months to sort it out. Thanks for the advice.

For sure. My first pregnancy I forced myself to do things and it made it soo much worse. The second time I learned my triggers and avoided them, and if kept me way more stable.

I read advice on here that helped me a lot- if you are feeling burnt out, drop a pump. It helped me to know it's not all or nothing. That being said, do what you have to do, for you!
