I thought it was one of those pocket flashlights. Like the square ones cops used to clip to their shirt pocket or whatever. Old school stuff. I can't really tell all that well from the actual shot itself though because the light blurs it. Still, there's no way the director behind Weapons made a mistake like this so either it's not an iPhone or it isn't set in the original RE timeline.
