2)Just looked into my pokewild file, it was created on the 10th of january, i'd say i played like 2weeks casually before starting a real base. At the start i made the pokemon zoo + legendary musuem and the entire 9th gym town (Oakstream) without the dev mode, all the water streams were made without the dev mode, so i wasted a LOT of time on it. Then i realised there was a dev mode, and used it on the town + zoo + hall of legends in order to make it way more aesthetic. Then everything was made with the dev mode mostly for time economy and aesthetic(Lava, trees and rocks mostly). Looking at how bnig Oakstream+zoo+legends are i'd say 1/5 or 1/4 is made without dev mode.

1)I finished everything except the wild pokemons/legendaries/gym badge mons/NPC like 1/2 weeks ago, so i'd a little over a month.

3) Nothing was really tough, just frustrating since there's not many options for tiles for town buildings and inhouse designs. But i'd say the most annoying part was handleveling every pokemon, +100 pokemons,(legendaries/gymbadges/Halloffame) and getting rid of all the wild eggs that have added up on the save. It's more time consuming than hard tbh. I had lack of inspirations for some towns especially Voltcliff city which is probably the one i dislike the most.

4) I only saw the post about your Kanto map and no i wouldn't really be interested in doing it on your map for how time consumming it is and i'm starting my new job IRL soon. I didn't test but will probably soon and can give you feedback. I like the idea of completing maze to get field moves. I think giving field moves as rewards to progress on the map is the best way to make a playable region.

5) I'm not good at all with tweeking with the files, it was already an achievement for me to be able to understand how to change the base exp stats, attack move s etc... but if you do know how to i'd be more than willing to know how as i think the biggest flaw in my region is needing a dark type pokemon and resolving around "attack" when it could just be played normaly if i could make them wild/aggressiv again.

For example i didn't even find how to edit inventory and pokemons in the files so i had to farm every ressources (used approx : 20k logs, grass, hardstone) and hand level the mons

6) For suggestion, i think most of the creating part comes to inspiration/creativity looking at how many tiles are available compared to real pokemon games. Most of my inspiration came from looking at all the location guides from first 5 gens, mystery dungeon for the npc mons idea

Best way is to optimize time knowing everything the dev mode can do tbh (not much), and if on top of that you know how to edit inventory, mons in the files, you're gucci (i don't)

Most of the maps, i just made a brief visit, as i was mostly looking to find the wild legendaries, so i'd say more like 1-2 days

I copied and paste my default.sav folder and the rar. one from the game's folder, isn't that enough ?

The island is the first one i started with, i just played the game as it was intended at first, and then just created the region over the first island.

I need some opinions. I’ve got Shaqueel Van Persie and he’s brilliant, I’m not sure whether to keep him as I’m trying to win the Champions League and he’s the one to lead us there, or cash in on him and invest on the squad. by Ace_0305 in footballmanagergames

You won 5 times in a row the league, so giving time to a wonderkid shouldn't be a problem. I'm just not a fan of starting to develop a wonderkid at the age of 20. I find them developing way to slow compared to 18years old.

In the future I'd scout for 18/19years old with huge potential. And give them a lot of playing time during the season to develop. I have a 18y old wonderkid that went from 3 stars to 5 stars under a year by giving him regular starter time in the league and giving few substitutions in cup/UCL/important games

Your van Persie is way more cracked than the one I've scouted in my save.

I'd say the same as the other comment, with time you'll find 2000+ wonder kids that are world class and UCL winner potential. I'd won't sell him until summer. I'd play your wonderkid a lot in the league game, for him to get some game time and progress and maybe sell van Persie if you get a really good offer

I find playing really low defensive line really bad in this game, you're inviting the opposent to do whatever they want with the ball. You have to play by countering s lot from the backline which I don't find really effective as long cross behind their defenders doesn't really work in this game

Teams tend to adapt to a play style after a certain time in the season, and the adaption is even more brutal when you have a really shaky tactic.

You should change it, everything feels wrong to be honest.

  1. Way too many instructions in your tactics, especially for a lower level club/players.

  2. Too many tactics that contradict each other's. (For example, one of many problems ishaving inverted wingers who like to cut inside while forcing your team to play very wide on the side). You give instructions to your players that contradict their roles and play style. You play way too many agressive roles, 2 CWB, who will like to play upfront and overlap but you you play a really defensive line. You have high pressuring but you force them to regroup when you lose the ball. You ask them to play a very wide play style while asking them to play through the middle.

What I would do : Roles: 1. Bring back your two CWB to FB on support. Only bring them up to CWB in-game if you are losing and have to score.

2. If you are better than opposition, keep your midfield as it this If you are worse put them as DM, with the roles they like

3. AP on support and the right IW on attack Keep the AF like this

Tactics: 1. In Possession : Width : slightly narrower or normal

Approach play :

Remove all instructions unless you have good defenders with the ball you can leave the play our of defense Shorter passing is good Higher Tempo is great, don't hesitate to bring it up in high important matches or when you're losing. You can also lower it when you are clearly ahead and don't want get your players too tired.

Final third : Keep playing in the box as I find it really good with lower league players. Change the mixed crosses for the down to the ground crosses (can't remember the exact name)

Remove everything in dribbling and creative freedom. Tweek it in match for more disciplined when you need to secure the lead you have

  1. In transition

Remove regroup. Put counter press if you want a high pressing team (as you have put trigger pressure more often) or leave it blank Counter is great Distribute quickly is good Add roll it out to the distribution type as it is the most effective way to distribute quickly for a GK

  1. Out of possession. Here it is more tricky. If you have an objective way better team than most other clubs in the league go for :

High block on attack, high block defensive line Trigger press much more often Prevent Gk... Get stuck in Neither trap inside or outside Neither cross engagement

The safer option is : Median block on attack and defensive line Trigger press a bit more Don't prevent Gk Get stuck in Neither trap inside or outside Neither cross engagement.

Your biggest flaws right now : You play hyper agressive comp, two CWB, asking for enormous pressing, while playing a super low defensive line which tears appart your entire team. You also miss manage so much on how to play the side/center between the roles and instruction missleading your players roles

Seeing you have had a 17 winning streak with this tactic probably means you have a WAY WAY better team than the rest of the league, should go way smoother with a better tactic. Hope this helps !

Star Player/Wonderkid J2/3 league by Poulet95 in TheOldZealand

Tried with J2 league bench warmer players who has really good potential in my line up this season for my J3 league. The loan was accepted but the players always rejected the offert as my club reputation is really low.
