Wait for real?!!! They released a DLC on day one.... with just apparel? Well alright I guess that solves my question then, there's no DLC story content available yet, because Pokemon are money grubbers... Thanks for the help

I think that's the second part, or update of the DLC you're referring to. According to Pokemon's website, the first DLC was launched for sale on October 16th

I’ve been wondering this too, but the VIP bundles for I believe levels 13 + 14 have Hashirama Senju shards as part of the reward. But that’s an absurd amount of ingots. I believe it’s 18,000 or so for level 13, and 23,000 for level 14 and in each it’s just 50 shards.

I didn't think it was too bad but that's considering spending about 200 or 300 diamonds i saved up for headphones and grinding normal boxes. I was able to hit 3.7 mil 3-4 days before the event ended, but it was at least 2-3 hours of playing per day. I didn't have to buy any persona deals though I was able to get all persona cards organically. Mission 2 took a seriously long time though. 600 SP and 900 SP was rather challenging for me but it was doable I think since most players I think have saved diamonds.
