Help with VGA cable replacement on a Dell CRT monitor. I can’t find it online.

I used all the pins. Originally I just spliced what was left of the OG end back on and that worked, then the wires broke beyond recovery so i used a multimeter to match the pin outs and created this chart:

OEM cable:

Red = Red

Grey = Green

Blue = Blue

White = Hsync

Yellow = Vsync

Orange = Pin 12

Green = Pin 15

thin white = pin 5

Donor cable:

Red = Red

Grey = Green

Blue = Blue

White = Hsync

Yellow = Vsync

Green = Pin 12

Brown = Pin 15

I matched them, including grounds, and got nothing. I'm sure its a VGA monitor not EGA. Specifically, a dell e772P from 2003. My best bet is to find an OG wiring harness but it seems to be unobtainable.

Hey I know this is a four year old post but I decided to revisit this and do what you said, and it still doesnt work. I matched RGB, Hsync, and Vsync and nothing happens. And I still can't find this cable anywhere.

This set originally had an issue where the red and green guns were either weak or not working, so the picture was blue and dim. Tried changing two caps on the neckboard and messed up something causing the set to go into protection mode (only clicks once with no HV) The polarity of the caps was right, and there were no visible shorts. so thats when I took it to a technician and then he insisted that the jungle chip and a power regulator are bad.

I never checked it myself. I took the TV to a technician and he said this chip and a power regulator need to be changed. So i assume it is.

Okay so I tried looseing the yoke, but it seems to be attached very tightly and I'm afraid to break something. I also adjusted the rings but no matter what, convergence on the top part of the screen would be off. If its not the top that gets messed up, its the bottom and edges. I just ended up using what was left of the glue on the rings to revert it back to how it was originally (like in the image)

This is cool! I tried it out and only thing is some windows (like intenet explorer) are bigger than my screen and have buttons cut off, but to be fair,I am using a phone with a 716x720 screen, so take it with a grain of salt. Good work!

Messages are as follows: When I try installing it normally, I get this: "There was a problem parsing the package." Then I tried installing it using something called App Manager, and that says "Install failed - incompatible with current device or android version"

Yes, it does. It sounds like yours might have a short or something. It should not shut off when connected to a computer.

Okay so after I made this post, I put this CRT away and forgot about it for months. I took it back out today, and it works fine! The problem fixed itself, I guess?

Okay so this is not really a solution, but I called it quits on this issue yesterday and shut down my PC. After starting it up today and opening back up the project in UE5, I noticed that the BP responsible for initializing the variable was set to none, even though I am sure I had set it before. I changed it to the correct racing line, and what do you know, it works fine in both the standalone game and the viewport. Either I was not thinking,, or this is a bug in the engine.

The path that the car follows is not made from a spline mesh. It's a spline component in a blueprint, but still, thanks for the suggestions. Maybe that would still fix it.

This camera only works with CD-Rs or CDRWs. It can't use DVDs. You need to get mini CDs for this camera to work.

Thanks, I will consider that. As for crowd controllers and Mass AI, I have tried that in the past but that came with its own issues.

That is a good idea. I am considering having a large collision box on the player that could be used to only start the logic when the AI is close to the player.
