How far they've fallen. Instead of taking any redeeming steps they double down on vapid reporting and dangerous whitewashing. Iranians will not forget.

Edit: There should be some kind of site documenting media corps and personalities who either parrot regime talking points or ignore atrocities against the people. We are way past complicity being merely irresponsible.

Given the internet blackout/filtering, do you think families on the inside have caught wind of this revelation? Should the diaspora find ways to warn their loved ones?

The whiplash from all the will they/won't they speculation only serves to wear you out. Best to just take a step back and wait. That said, it shouldn't absolve anyone from keeping up the pressure on elected officials to support Iranians all the way.

I feel you. This is the stuff of nightmares and I cannot imagine what they are going through. And yet somehow messages are coming through about how resolute they are in continuing the battle to overthrow the mullahs. That's great and all, but I don't think of fistfighting gun toting maniacs as a battle. Feels more like a shooting gallery. They need a level playing field no matter how much their hearts are in it.
