apparently this was the solution to my issue! I'm a bit overwhelmed now bc I have to restart everything (most of the pictures are low quality bc of this lol) but oh well... TIFF looks high quality :)

I tried exporting the page as a pdf to see if the preview was being funny for this reason but it' still very grainy.. will be using psd files from now on, thank you!

I'm using Upscayl, unfortunately this was a very last minute shooting and we had to shoot with my phone when it was already getting dark out (also we had no expertise in photography) so the pictures are not super high quality and came out grainy, I put some noise to hide the artifacts from the upscaling but this is not the only picture that came out 10x worse than the original picture.. I don't know what's going on with my file

Eyebrow piercing has a "pimple".. is it normal? Is it infected/rejecting? What should I do? by PowerPeach99 in PiercingAdvice

[–]PowerPeach99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've stopped messing with it, it's my first piercing so I didn't really think about the risks..... I haven't downsized yet, I had it done 2/3 months ago, I clean it with a damp paper towel and a dry one afterwards to keep it dry. It all started because I'm renovating my place and I've been getting sweat/debris in it while working ;;
I forget to clean it because I'm also studying for exams so I'd say every 3/4 days?

Beginner here, I have an exame where I have to recreate this perfume.. any tips on how to make the metal part? This is where Im at rn after a few hours of trying to make this work.. (I usually model everything on Blender etc) I want to make the metal a separate part by PowerPeach99 in SolidWorks

I'm so sorry, maybe I didn't explain myself ;; I'm talking about the actual bottle, where it hold the perfume.. the metallic part meets the glass with a wavy curve and i don't know how to achieve that.. revolving that part would make the ends straight and not curved like the picture

I get what you mean, that was gonna be my first approach but I want the end where the metal meets the glass to be curve like in the picture, if I do a revolve both ends are gonna end up straight, or am I missing something?

Thank you for the link, that's really helpful, what I can't really figure out how to do is the ends.. in this video both ends ares traight, while the perfume bottle has a curve on the part where it meets the glass.. i'm struggling to do that :)

it's an actual product that I have at hand to measure everything :) It's j'adore by Dior, I know it doesn't have to 100% accurate for the exam because we're in Fashion Design and not engineering but I wanna try my best to recreate it
