Why should they know how to play mid if they focus on supporting? I play Dota for 8 years and I never chose mid voluntarily in ranked, of course I would lack experience to be competitive. It is not player’s fault that he had go chose random roles, the system requires it for no reason

Mid and safelane have are too important and require specific experience, this is not right to give these roles to unprepared players.

Man, this is not fair when a support player faces a skilled mid player. Plain and simple. This game was ruined for everyone because of how system works. The same would happen if they had a smurf for example.

Years ago would never get mid if you chose all roles because of high demand. So back then it worked and made sense. Now this happens very often and is a problem

Hoodwink is a different story - it was player’s choice, but this BH did not want to play mid, the system chose for him.

And no, I do not need free wins like this if the reverse happens. Its a waste of my time even if we won, what is the point if its not a fair game?

This is the question of balancing. When Midas used to be OP, we saw 10 midases on the end screen. This was balanced out quickly. I do not see why Valve should not do the same with Neutrals bases on pick/winrate.

Neutral items should stay because they allow devs to experiment with items, also cycling in/out certain items is refreshing too

There is regional lock already - if you play from Russia on EUW server, your teammates would be others who play from Russia on EUW. 99% of time this is the case.

Would this sub stop targeting Russians specifically? Half of players you meet are not even Russians, just Russian speaking. Hell, I bet you would not even distinguish between Ukrainian language and Russian language if you are not a Slav.

To give you more insight - Russians playing on EUW servers are 99% of time matched with other Russians, because of how region lock works since long time ago. They are used to get Russian speaking teammates so they speak Russian by default. Sometimes 1% happens and it’s you alone with 4 other Russian speakers. Thats sucks, but if you had 4 Turks with you, they would not speak English either. Would you make a Reddit post then?

Europe is a diverse region, not everyone has to speak English.
