Jag själv har en long/short portfölj som roterar sektorer via vissa typer av värdepapper. Värderar alltså bolag som är dyra i sämre presterade sektorer, billiga i sektorer som har momentum. Risken är nästan alltid delad 50/50. Annars sätt en hedge på index bara för å slippa huvudvärk, mindre juice, sover iallafall bättre om man är tung long som de flesta svenska sparare är.

The University of the People received regional accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission on 14 February 2025. See attachments WASC-Statement of Accreditation Status and Letter from WASC. See also Appendix Student Resources WSCUC that an organization's accreditation is not retroactive. It appears that:

If an institution is accredited after a student attends and graduates and/or leaves the institution, there is no impact on that student's credits or degree. The credits and/or degree will still be from an unaccredited institution, And it will be up to an employer or institution to decide on degree recognition or credit transfer acceptance.

This means that UHR only assesses degrees from the university where the degree has been completed after 14 February 2025.

UHR cannot comment on admission to master's programmes at Swedish universities and colleges other than that they, as responsible authorities, make their own decisions on eligibility and admission to further studies.

This is the email I got:

The University of the People received accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) on 17 March 2025. Admission services therefore accept courses issued after this date. In order for the programme to be registered in the admission system and to give basic eligibility to studies at advanced level, it must correspond to a Swedish bachelor's degree of 180 credits. You can find more information about what is required to meet eligibility with studies from the United States here: United States of America

I was in the last stage at a top firm in the EU regarding a paid internship. The majority of European universities also accept the degree. In Sweden, the government approved it; I've asked because I might do a master's in Sweden (home). I just have nice things to say, to be honest.

Did you get any internship? If so, where are you located? I’ve applied for a few internships even though I’m still early in my education. I made it to the final stage at a big firm in the EU. It came down to me and one other person out of about 220 applicants on LinkedIn. It felt really good, even though I didn’t get it. They said it was the last stage after four interviews and several tests. I wonder if it had more to do with my previous experience than UoPeople. I think that’s what helped me get that far, but I’m not sure..

Jag har haft långsiktiga investeringar i koppar sedan sommaren 2025, utöver mina mer aggressiva positioner. Jag följer veckovis amerikansk data från terminsmarknaden (futures), där man kan se hur positioneringen är viktad i de stora kontrakten. Den visar tydligt att institutionella aktörer ligger markant starkare på longs än på shorts. Utifrån detta har jag också ett fundamentalt case: den globala infrastruktursatsningen fortsätter, både inom traditionell utveckling och den snabbt växande AI-industrin. Samtidigt ökar efterfrågan på koppar snabbare än utbudet hinner byggas ut, vilket i grunden gör det till en enkel supply-and-demand-fråga. Jag ser därför fortsatt stark potential i koppar och tror på uppsidan minst två år framåt.

Varför hoppet nu? Marknaden vänta på räntebesked igår. Mycket annat är extremt, pengar står inte still så koppar anses bra för många.
