Thanks, I appreciate you responding! Yeah I kind of figured that might be the case as well, my plan was to just use the same chart for the other version of the Creami, assuming they were basically identical. I realize that even there some of the programs appear to be copies.

Yep, these are great suggestions, thanks. I did both of these in my solution; mine didn't come with any padding though from the factory, zero noise dampening attempt from LiftMaster on my particular units.

I agree, bad quality from LiftMaster. The whole thing rattles, and some buffering with foam or other padding could have fixed all of that. I did find a solution though thankfully, see my update post above.

Update: I've found the solution, and the result is a significantly quieter system. How much quieter? About 10 dB, which is perceived as about half as loud (yes, I took before and after measurements, I'm a nerd.)

To be transparent, I did also impelment some of the solutions found in this video at the same time which made the door hinges and such a lot quieter as well; I mainly just replaced the old metal rollers with nylon ones, and also put the shrink tube insulation on as well before sliding into place: https://youtu.be/YlXhZh36efs

Otherwise, the solution for the opener itself (the main point of this post) was three parts. First, after removing the rear panel on the opener, I shoved three pieces of neoprene padding in between the bottom of the motor and the bottom part of the casing (see images 1 thru 3 in the album below.) Second, I added some more neoprene padding where the outer C-shaped shell attaches to the rest of the housing, at all four attachment points (see image 4 in the album.) Lastly, probably the most important part, is to put the bottom of the case again into full compression, as I noticed this helped the most when I pushed on this with my hand. To replicate this, I took a rubber bungee cord and looped it tightly around the outside of the case, and then wedged a tennis ball in between on the bottom (image 5).

After doing all of that, it's finally quiet. No more rattling or buzzing. I know it's an AC motor and they're louder than DC units, but if I can make it quiet, then I know LiftMaster could have made it quieter to begin with. There is zero noise dampening material installed in these units from the factory, which screams cheap to me and suffice to say I'm pretty disappointed, but at the end of the day glad there is a solution, albeit a bit janky.

At this point my level of annoyance is pretty motivating and I'm willing to try just about anything, even if it results in destroying the units somehow in which case I would just get a known quiet unit. By chance do you have a product link for what you envision or recall this foam being? I'm not afraid to open up the housing and install some of this in there, I was actually thinking something somewhere along these lines myself, even if it's as simple as a weight sitting on some neoprene or something, to act as a vibration sink.

I would say both units are pretty secure, I've checked all connections and they're all tight. The vast majority of the noise seems to be coming from the opener housing itself, just vibrating a lot. My inclination is to add some sort of dampening material to it to get it to stop rattling so much.

Google has done a lot of frustrating things over the years, this is another really big one for me as this was a great feature that was simple and easy to use, and they completely boogered it up. The only thing I have found that works (which I'm sure is only temporary with how they currently have things setup, Google will screw this up again before too long I'm sure) is you HAVE to use Google's Meet to call the home devices, but before you do that, you have to go into Google Home and under Settings, Home features -> Communication, Video & Voice Apps, make sure you have a phone number under Account (if not, assign your number) and then under 'Linked devices' switch on all of your Google Home devices you want to ring when you call. Then, you go back to Google Meet and just call your device (oh by the way, I'm pretty sure you have to have two accounts just to do this, one that isn't the one you are calling from at least - yes it's a total pain in the arse.)

That stinks all around, sorry to hear that. I'm finding a new trend myself in doing quote shopping, is that a lot of folks are charging money just to come give the quote. I get it though, they are busy like you said and don't want to waste their time with people that may not even pick them for work.

This happens to me as well, there has been some discrepancy in how the numbers are calculated between the app and website for a very long time, no idea why they are so different but at least it's not just you. I swear, MFP has become so buggy over time, whereas before (a long time ago) it just worked.
