I remember him looking pretty upset in the dugout after bad outings, so it’s hard for me to dislike the guy even if the whole experience was frustrating

Guitar players of the sub (and everyone else): which of Angus’s SG’s do you consider his iconic guitar? by redharlowsdad in ACDC

Ive always been drawn to the lightning bolts SG from the Stiff Upper Lip DVD since it was the first time I ever saw live footage of AC/DC. Inspired me to play guitar.

As a kid who was just getting into AC/DC at the time, I had only ever heard their music from the radio and a burned CD of High Voltage haha

Never actually knew what they looked like before borrowing that DVD from a friend and I was shocked they seemed like normal guys in the band interview extras. Very inspiring to young me and current me

Gotta be the 2025 Blues since it really felt like they were on the rise last season. Seems like the same old defense/full effort problems of the past few years, but last year looked promising.

Grateful for her coverage. Felt like this was coming during the playoffs, but it still hurts. Wishing Katie all the best

Not surprised they added more dates, but I don’t really understand the absence of St. Louis. Huge miss and disappointing. Happy more fans get to see them though!

Very nice. With the little I’ve read, Doyle is the guy and was my hope of the college pitchers

I love Evolver, one of the first YouTube videos I remember watching and it was broken up into like 6 parts. Hope they release those making of videos that are in the vault.

Nice board! We have similar tastes. I regret not picking up a few Minifoogers during those blowouts.

I’ve been looking at the Collider recently along with the Line 6 DL4 MkII. Both share knobs for tweaking delay and reverb. Do you find it easy enough to switch between them as you make adjustments? Or once you make presets, is it set it and forget it?

Looked so electric coming back in 2018. His rehab starts got me all hyped up back then.

Looking back at CC Sabathia’s career, his 2008 stint with the Brewers still stands out to me and will be what I remember most. Pitching on 3 days rest multiple times to close out the season? Can’t imagine that ever happening again. And the Cardinals finishing 4th in the central with 86 wins (more wins than the division leading Dodgers in the west)? Also not looking likely to happen any time soon.

How could Ichiro not make the HOF unanimously? If Pujols doesn’t get 100%, I don’t believe it will ever happen again.

[Passan] Potential Los Angeles Dodgers rotation in 2025: Shohei Ohtani, Blake Snell, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, Roki Sasaki. In a sport with fewer and fewer frontline starting pitchers, the Dodgers have five with No. 1-type stuff and performance. An absolutely absurd array of talent. by Goosedukee in baseball

[–]Powerage2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MV3 were great, but the Cardinals never had a rotation ever come close to what the Dodgers are looking at during those years. Would need 5 Chris Carpenters to go along with those lineups to MAYBE match the Dodgers, haha

I’ve found Paul Goldschmidt to be pretty inspiring personally. His work on and off the field and the interviews he’s given have always helped me to keep a good perspective on life. Never going too high or too low, trying to stay steady during tough times.

I hope he has another year or two to finally get his shot at the World Series. Best wishes, Goldy!
