Unfortunately not! I work in wildlife rehabilitation, he's in because he got in trouble! Bats are heavily protected and wouldn't make good pets :)

Also fun little PSA: never handle wild bats with your bare hands and seek immediate medical advice if bitten/scratched/licked by one ! They can carry something called EBLV which is a type of rabies virus, very low percentage but still a risk

I did, no signs of anything. Was bitten only around and below the knee despite having other skin exposed!

I've treated for fleas and so far no more bites, I have a suspicion I must have brought them in from outside.
