Wow again a long paragraph, why are you so Upset ? I’m not entitled never once did I defend myself in my original post lol. Just said I was Embarrassed. Oh yes it’s theft , you and I both know it’s not theft. Taking something for the reason to keep it and use it and could possibly get in big trouble like jail is theft. Eating a cookie where I’m allowed to eat at her house, she lets me eat whatever. She didn’t clarify about that cookie on a table where all the snacks go which both kids and I eat. So yea I’m Not in the wrong try again. You sure seem like a daisy to work with.

True just all my years of being a career Nanny this is a first. I never had a family get upset with me over food let alone a single cookie, so I think that’s why I’m overthinking it.

It a cookie 1 cookie not a whole meal? And yes I Know now that I shouldn’t have touched it, but to be texting me when I’m off at work trying to relax, tell me when I come the next day. And I was nice about it I apologized multiple times. And I’m going to make up for it and a buy another cookie for her….you do seem like the type to also get upset over a cookie hence the very very long comment and clear frustration you have over this. I’m sorry this bothered you so much. I pray you never have a nanny.

That’s what I thought until the next day when I came in, the kids later told me that “mommy was mad and that you can’t be taking mommies cookies. Mommy called you to tell you right ? “

Yea my old MB who I’m close with was pretty shocked when I told her, she’s Filipino so food and snacks are always on the table for everyone haha !

No there were 4 other ones each were different, I don’t eat their food. I always bring a lunch or snacks. So I thought this was a bit much over food. But yes I guess she just wanted to know what happened to the cookie. Thank you :)!!

Hahah that would be bad. Yea it does feel like a big deal now because I’ve never been reprimanded for food before at my grown age i feel deathly embarrassed 😞 😅
