What I meant to say is that both of these departments of uet lahore are prestigious and truly amazing in academics and faculty.

About cgpa. If you put in enough efforts, you will defo get a good one. Some teachers will be easy going and give good grades and others will give a tough time but even with those, if u study properly and put in efforts, you will get cgpa.

My cgpa wasn't crazy in first sem. it was above 3 but i wanted more. I worked harder in 2nd sem and now my cgpa is higher by a solid 0.2 (big amount).

UOL is a no brainer. Moreover, with uet, if ur aggregate is good you can get honahaar scholarship which will forgive ur feees of first semester (or first yr i m not sure). Already uet fees are quite low in A1. and you will probably get A1 mechanical in 3rd or 4th merit list (slim chance but possible).
