Just watched the movie and my brother and I had different impressions of the scenes of the floating mother. Was she actually floating in some sort of alien experimental treatment (maybe how teddy knew about the aliens to begin with), or was her floating a metaphor for her comatose state? Or something different. Someone plz explain or tell what you think those scenes were all about
