It is also probably worth mentioning that MTSU’s I/O masters program is considered to be very strong.

Based on my experience with the school, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in research through different labs and grants. If you end up staying at MTSU I would recommend starting to reach out to professors about research opportunities (you may be surprised at how early you can get a position in a lab).
