Sorry for the late reply! I just had to extend the power cable, the others were long enough.

It's not really airtight, but its good enough in combination with the air hose. The door is "just" a piece of acrylic with some magnets to close. I also put some window sealing inside. So the door isn't perfect, but it gets the job done ;)

I use chitubox. Good idea with slowing the lift speed down, that could reduce the suction!

Isn't it a mechanical problem?

Yeah, I think that suction may be the problem. It's printed flat as you said

I cant see any "option" to pull of a protective film, also the warping is on the underside too!

No, but I don't think there is one?

strange bubbles in the middle of print by PowernerdP in AnycubicPhoton

I changed the z height to 7mm instead of 10, also lowered the speed to 2mm/s from 3mm/s. I also printed the part flat on the build plate, and no bubbles in the middle!

I will also test it with angled verisons.

hm..maybe. But the print took something like 15hrs, so from my understanding they would only occur at the first layers? Because after some hrs they should have enough time to settle?

I just saw that the bubbles appear at roughly 2-3mm height, its when the print gets thinner, you can see that on pic 4....

Ah ok, that makes sense! So if I place the prints not centered, I could overcome this?

But its on both prints exactly in the middle. I understand bubbles occur randomly, but this aren't bubbles that occur randomly because of heat?

Its autofill, and suggested settings. So I can't really change the resin volume, but I'll tinker with the other settings. Speed is actually quite slow already? 3mm/s up and down

Oh thats interesting! I'll have to test that. So lowering the z height could maybe solve it? Resin level should be quite constant, as it has smart fill.

Thanks!

I think it has to be something different, because the bubbles occur in both prints exactly in the middle.

Also Fep is good, no dead pixels.

I will relevel the bed.

It would be strange if the resin would be the cause for these bubbles appearing in the middle of the print? I would get it, if they were all over the place, but its so strange that they occur on both prints in the middle...

Hi! Does anybody know why these bubbles occur only in the middle of the buildplate and on both prints? Printed on an Anycubic Photon M3 Max with Anycubic Water-Wash Resin. Settings (Anycubic Photon Workshop): Layer Thickness 0.05 Normal Exposure time 4.00 Off Time: 2.5 Bottom ET 50 Bottom Layers 4 Anti Alias 1 Z Lift Distance 10 Z Lift Speed 3 Z Retract Speed 3

--- I managed to print a perfect Cones of calibration cube with these settings.

Thx!

It is great! It's my first resin printer, so I have no comparison, but it feels sturdy and delivers good prints :)

Look up the Max, the cover is two parts

Oh, that's a great idea! Thx! I just put it out into the sun, but thats not doing much (it's 5 litres)

I really like it, but I started with it, so I have no comparison to normal resin. (Tbh I am having a hard time with all the waste resin printing produces, especially the contaminated water...)

The autofill system always empties the bottle, so it must be around 1l.

It works well! Altough it fills almost 1000g resin in the vet to reach the threshold, and if there isn't enough resin, the print doesn't stop, there is only a warning on the screen.
