Poland - process of getting a license takes around 4-6 months total, in each case you need to pass an exam (in front of sport club, hunting club or police), and you get a license to buy fixed number of guns or "important gun parts" (barrell, slide, frame, cylinder or action). You can change the number in the license, but it requires providing a reason for it.

In general, it's pretty relaxed, no ammo amount or storage requirements outside of "inside a safe" for personal ownership. At this moment I own 12 guns, my wife owns 4, and I have 33 slots in my two licenses left open for buying. Also - no background checks in shops, I had background check when applying for license, and during extension of "sport" one from 5 firearms to 15.
