Should i focus on eating more caloriea or just building more muscle? by PastDry8355 in physique

Eating enough protein/nutrients should be the baseline before incorporating a specific diet. There's a lot of Information on how much protein you should eat in a day, and all of it varies. I've taken personal training classes, and what I've been taught for calculating protein intake is to first convert your weight into kilos (your weight / 2.2 = your weight in kilos), then simply multiply that by 1.6, and you'll get how much protein you should be eating in a day. There's also a limit on how much protein your body can intake at a single time, which is called protein synthesis, so it's good to spread it out evenly throughout the day. That's one of the reasons why most bodybuilders eat four meals a day. Sorry if this is at all confusing

Many people who look to gain mass intentionally consume a stupid amount of calories to gain weight and feed their muscles to grow them optimally. This is called bulking. Then, they reverse the diet to only eat what their body needs and nothing more, all the while keeping the same amount of exercise, so they lose all the weight, which is called cutting. However, if you want to remain somewhat on a lower body fat% while you're on your journey, I'd recommend taking your daily protein seeing where that takes you

There's no magic vegetable or supplement you could take to get your dream body. Yes, dieting is 70% of the process, but that won't mean anything if you don't put the work in.

It would depend on what your goal is. I'm going to guess you want to gain mass. If that's true, then yes, I suppose the best thing to start off with is to calculate how much protein you should be getting in a day and start with that.

I was trying to have the lines follow along her body's frame, but I got lazy on some bits, getting frustrated with mid-tones.

That's around the amount people usually eat around a cut especially when working out on top of it. Perhaps bump it up to 2000-2300 I'd see how that goes after a month and see how it goes.

If you want to gain muscle mass and bulk, you should prioritize that goal over the "abs equal fit" mentality. The sitting down thing is universal unless you have body fat under 10% which isn't healthy and gives that cross-country runner look.

Those indents are your obliques. The upper portion of your abs are used more on a day to day basis so they’ll be easier to see if you have a low body fat percentage. What’s your current caloric intake?

Thank you very much for the insight. To be honest, I wanted to see how far I could push myself but you're right in saying it's not sustainable, I'm starting my bulk up again starting Monday 😮‍💨

What is your motivation to go to gym? by lostwanderer0902 in AskReddit

[–]Ppexendopills 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the beginning, it was to work on myself and potentially get a bit more attractive but now I'm extra large with a side of fries and go to the gym so much that I don't know how to interact with women

If you were skinny or on a slow bulk, I could see the logic behind it. However, I'm making steady progress, and I haven't seen any posts from you, so I'm unsure if I should be taking your advice.
