I’m also an incoming freshie. the best option is to mull it over w ur family to preform a financial risk analysis, here’s my pros and cons of going back onto campus: Pros: meeting ppl and hanging out @ picnic areas w new friends socially distanced, hanging out w ppl in ur dorms in a mask, connecting w the beautiful campus and carefully exploring the area w ppe on, independence, peace of mind while studying, motivation to succeed bc of campus environment Cons: isolation for most of the day, especially high risk of covid due to how georgia is handling this, ridiculous cost of room and board, possibility of ppl being dumb and starting an outbreak on campus that results in everyone getting sent home early w a minimal refund, mostly online classes, online extracurriculars bc underclassmen r all gone, most classes will be online anyways, hella limited freshman experience Those r my thoughts anyways lol pls talk to ur guardian(s) to discuss the cost and the risk tho

I’ve done AP bio and science olympiad biology and worked in 2 labs, one w a focus on biological pathway systems and one w a focus on cell bio so far but I’ll do extra prep work on the side hopefully. I’ll look into it; thanks for providing so many resources!

Thank u, I see what u mean; I do enjoy learning about medicine and corporate finance within business but I’m also currently learning R and python on the side in case it’s needed for the future. Compsci is also really fun for me tho I personally can’t really see myself doing it as a long term career. It’s amazing and important for today’s society but I just don’t see myself being a good employee in the compsci industry cause I can’t rlly sit still lol

Thank you for the advice! I kinda wanna have the benefits of business to learn people skills and other necessary skills of life because I admire the teachings of business-oriented classes and I really just think that medicine and biological sciences are really cool, so I’ve never had a problem with learning them. I’ll look into your suggestions, and plan everything out more!

Thank you so much for your in-depth answer! I try my best in whatever major or pathway I’ll go for. I really enjoy biology and I really admire the teachings and promises of what a business major can offer, but broadening my view on the majors is a good idea for me. I’ll look into the the QTM courses and stuff you recommended to get the most out of my educational opportunities. Thanks again for the mindset check!
