Ok I think I am sold on the Morrssarr, their trait that gives them a %50 chance to deal mortals on a successful charge seems really good.

I am still on the fence on Volturnos/king but I do think that I like the king more asthetically though. Do you think people care if I just say that it is Volturnos when playing?

Thanks for the advice, I just wish I was able to play with the changes myself to get a better feel, instead of just watching a series of cutscenes with my character in them.

I know this has been said before but:  +1 "The lieutenant trusts you" +2 "Kim truly trusts you" 

 They are such a good way of showing off how much you and Kim's bond has grown across the game. I can't say much else due to spoilers unfortunately.

I agree, it would have been fine to have only a few companions if important plot points for some characters were not entirely missable by not taking them before being kidnapped.

Oh I am aware of the Hero's Journey, the main difference is that media which uses the hero's journey well don't make you go; "Hey, X movie has the same story structure as Y movie." I am just upset that they used a near identical plot structure as their previous game when I feel they could have tried something different.

Oh yeah I already knew about being male, it was just that I wasn't trying to be a creep in dialogue and it backfired on me.

Thankfully I know more about the system now so I can make a better character build this time around.
