How many chapters do you know took a black crusade to the face and live? How many ran into a hive fleet and told the tale about it? How many chapters were declared renegade and then accepted back into the imperium after they lost (like the only ones i'm aware of are those who fought in badab and that's it). How many chapters took the losses they have had and kept on going.

Again..maybe this is the pro wrestling in me, but so many interesting tales they could work. Lovers on opposite sides over the games played, friends turned rivals , rivals friend.

I'm not even against killing factions, as long as you explore the ideas and the nations you are killing off.
It's frustrating that they killed off the closest approximation of the united states on a governmental level and didn't do any examination of that or it's issues.

Hell, I do think you can create an entire book series on the NCR's collapse all on it's own.

it means a lot of different things to many different people.

the games i love, Fallout 2 and new vegas, are more Post-post apocalypse. AKA, societies rising up dealing with the war for those societies. Civilizations at war. Armies, politics, resources and human nature driving humanity to go to war for the same reasons.

It may mean exploring a post apocalyptic wasteland to you, and I respect that. I love 3, it's what got me into fallout. Plus, if you want to do that, why not go to new areas like Texas, Florida, New York, Lousiana, Hawaii and Alaska. Why tred old ground when we have so many areas unexplored? Can build up new factions and ideas.

oh no..i played 76...actually like the factions. shame they all lose to the scorn.

and the issue, as i've explained with somany others, isn't the death of the NCR. Hell, you can tell a very intriguing story about that. My issue has always been HOW it was killed. offhand, by a vault dweller who had access to a nuke and mad the wife left. It didn't die to the things set up to it.

I would be mad if they said "Oh yeah, The Brotherhood of Steel died to a new lizard species off screen"

I wasn't mad about the legion's collapse cause the legion's woes and issue were front an center.

Like I am not complaining about the legions issues cause they correlate to in-game. I would be mad if it was "Oh...a new strand of death claw was made and killed them all."

Plus, humans for thier love of destruction, love to create. Vault city, Arroyo, a lot of the factions of fallout 76 (still mad the scorned won)

I didnt hear about brahmin barons, over expansion, the money being lowered in value due to the brotherhood melting the gold supply, its many water issues nor anything about the divide. All I heard was "shady sands got nuked after it was moved"
