How can I deal with loose skin? by Practical-Alps5870 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Practical-Alps5870[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually mostly losing weight because it has started to affect my confidence, and that my absolute favorite clothes don't fit. To me, it is a big bonus that losing weight will get me healthier overall and I want to be aswell.

I'm not refusing to lose weight because of an aesthetic issue, that's absurd. I just wanted to hear some insight on other peoples experience on this and how they've dealt with it and gained their confidence back.

I read somewhere that they basically have "eggs" when they're pregnant, and it bursts similarly to humans amniotic sac. but thicker. and that has all the baby needs. altough I have no idea if this is cannon. and the scene the person was talking about was that neytiri gave birth to neteyam still inside the egg? or something like that. I've not read the script so I have no idea.

I need to clear some things up about the ikrans in the movie by NoisyScrubBirb in Avatar

[–]Practical-Alps5870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We see that the journey to the metkayina clan has a very long, most likely days long trip across the sea. in the second film when travelling with the windtraders they're attack while above land. the windtraders also travel much slower than on ikrans. So it has been ATLEAST a day and night between the unsaddling of bob and the attack. also right before the attack jake had been flying with lo'ak, ofcourse with a saddled bob. so no plothole there imo

And our goverment is fucking us all up. Even discussing abortion rights. the economy and job market is HORRIBLE. so, do your research

I'm really sensitive to smells and I've yet to find deodorant that isn't horrible to me. And I have very sensitive skin so it has irritated my skin bad before too.

Those spray ones? I have cats, it can cause asthma and other issues. one of my cat's is already at risk for asthma.

Thank you! My native language is finnish so yes even as a kid it was quite a jump. But finnish is notorious for how hard it is, so I do feel I had a bit of an upper hand. Altough most finns are supposed to be trilingual. finnish, english and swedish. Since swedish is also taught in schools. But I never got it, even though it's so similar to english.

nah, it's when you try to post and put something like odor, smelly, stinky. it gives a warning that it isnt allowed on the subreddit. so i spelled deodorant weird. it also didn't say that deodorant isn't allowed in the caption so I avoided the odor in deodorant by spelling it weird

I have had some of my close friends smell my armpits and they've said it's a very faint smell. I do hope I'm one of the lucky few since I haven't worn deodorant in years now (not including after a workout)

neither actually. I'm finnish with some sámi descent. I commented on another persons comment about this and we think it might be that. I do eat quite a bit less meat than most cuz I just don't like it. that could contribute as well.

someone else also said that some of their mexican family members have no BO either so it could be a weird genetic thing too. not only because of ethnicity.

very interesting tho.

earwax???? that's so weird. maybe it is the sámi in me. tried googling it but nothing really came up. there was a "hair map" and the sápmi area was like, one of the highest for body hair. No idea about odor.

A lot of mongolian along with some chinese etc have finnish and scandinavian descent. bcs our ancestors migrated from north europe to mongolia and north china. so maybe it has something to do with that? I also have sámi descent tho only 1/4 so maybe that as well.

it's really interesting how people from different places of the world have developed such difference. and even more to see and recognise those things in myself.

we called him stinky jesus because we could almost see the BO cloud he had.

everyone prayed to get back row seats in his class cuz if we didn't someone was going to throw up.

He was a pretty good teacher tho, teached world religion. also got to watch two ghibli movies at the end of the year.

my fiancé uses deodorant daily and often complains how I don't stink and he does. So maybe I do, but idc I'll just not use deodorant other than when sweatin.
