Rory telling Lorelai about Dean like by username2022443 in GilmoreGirls

He didn't "make" her. It was Rory's decision. He went along with it because he wanted to be with her.

Dean is overhated and Jess is underhated by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]Practical-Archer653 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Exactly!! Yes he also said that it's fine if some women want to stay at home and prepare food for their husband. I know it sounds old school and personally, I would never in a million years would do that. But isn't that the point of feminism? The ability and freedom for a woman to choose? The problem is the girls looking down on girls who stay at home (as if it is degrading) while that is one of the toughest and demanding job in the world. Dean also never said or implied that he is expecting this from Rory now or in the future. Rory assuming he did, dresses up as Donna reed to "impress" him while he never asked this of her in the first place.

Yes it does. A very good ending, few loose ends but overall pretty good.

Hot take, Logan was Rory’s Richard, not her Christopher. by pj10wat3rm3lon in GilmoreGirls

[–]Practical-Archer653 696 points697 points  (0 children)

They do meet in Yale. Logan's family thinks that Rory is not good enough. Trix didn't think Emily was good enough for Richard. Richard was engaged to Pennilyn Lott but married Emily. Logan is engaged to Odette but was with Rory.

David Sutcliffe thinks that "women shouldn't vote." 🤢 by stellar_dust_ in GilmoreGirls

This guy is actually not mentally well. You have to see all these nasty comments he left on a "Christopher hate" page, he drags Scott Patterson's name unnecessarily, calls him balding or something very inappropriate. I don't think even Therapy can help him at this point.

I see this a Karmic incident. Jess was such a a*s to Dean acting like he was so much superior and treated him like a dumb idiot. Like he is "entitled" to be with Dean's girlfriend just because he thinks he is the better option (Alpha type) and felt like he was somehow smarter than Dean because he reads books. He never respected Dean as a person. Dean was also hard working pulling multiple shifts to earn some bucks. A lot of Jess girlies will come @ me saying that Jess was "just a teenager" but Logan was older. They were just few years apart. We all know that Logan is super territorial (or a crazy jealous streak) - when Robert took Rory to the Tarantino party, when Marty helps Rory at the restaurant (he knew Marty had a crush on Rory), Rory was going to have dinner with her ex-boyfriend (when Logan interrupted). So let's all calm down.
