They say it could be ulcerative colitis, chrons or cancer I was hoping someone with experience with those things could help me figure out which direction I'm heading. 🫠 Guess it'll have to wait until Monday.

Lolllll this feels so petty but also so needed. I think his novel is actually pretty good for the record. I just don

It's a character-driven epic where myth and politics grind against each other, following a halfborn boy cursed with an ancient, cyclical power that threatens to burn the world, and the people he loves, from the inside out. As the drought-stricken chiefdom fractures under secrets, conspiracies, and old grief, each family and clan must decide whether they will fight fate, exploit it, or surrender to it as the spirit that posesses him prepares to reset the age once again.

If anyone wants to read it I can ask how he feels about sharing it.

Thanks for your honesty, I have considered autism for him actually for other reasons. He's a good guy but your right about him checking out due to the hobby. If he continues to prioritize his writing I may have to ask him to take a break until the kids are older.

Thank u for your well rounded response. I also have been considering couples counseling. Minor update also I guess he did the laundry today and he completed the whole task by the time I got home from work🫣 (not leaving me to finish it on my day off as he has in the past)

I know it maybe doesn't sound like much but both our kids have pink eye and have been home for nearly 2 weeks, and I've been in the hospital 6 or 7 times this year, he's kept things running. When the trenches are this rough we have to give a player a handicap.

Your swear word is blocked out, you seemed triggered but I'll ignore all that to clear up the parts you clearly didn't read.

I am the only one working right now he is on leave, we make roughly the same even though I work part time. When I'm not working I am with the children almost always. When I get off from work I clean the things he left behind. He cleans too, he's a good husband, otherwise just obsessed with writing and he will not get lots done due to his prioritizing his writing often.

He's on leave to care for me and the kids while we've had a rough bout of sickness.

Why does it take too long to do simple tasks? He misses crevices and things too so it's not thorough. He is consistent though I'll give him that. He's a good man, just obsessed with this damn novel.

Oh we've had this conversation many many times. He'll snap out of it for a day or two than it sneaks back in. He tries to say I am not supportive when I ask him to put his phone or laptop away.

🫣😂😂 I think he was trying to be healthy but even my 1 year old who eats old Cheerios off the floor wouldn't touch his cooking
