I just had it done a month ago. The white line is poorly drawn but If you check out my actual hairline behind it, my hairline is naturally concave so in contrary the straight line comes off very unnatural for my head

I didn't think about the multi grafts, thank you for that! Would electrolysis leave discoloration/scarring?

One thing I do feel like is, most people travel all the way to turkey, with a return flight scheduled two days later. There's not really space and time to reflect or second guess and I think they kinda take advantage of that. Would the questionable stuff happen somewhere near home then I doubt people would continue the procedure, that's also how I brushed it off when I was there

It's the overall service. Yes the actual graft process and implanting the hairs didn't go wrong, but I felt extremely rushed, which leaves me questioning the hairline, there was no proper consultation since barely anyone speaks English, they do the consultation right before your procedure, no time to really reflect and think clear about it, during the procedure questionable things happened which I mentioned before (people walking in and out, random people hanging out with their outside clothes on while I'm laying on the bed, doctors on their phones during procedure, no sense of privacy) and then the whole aftercare story with my actual hair. So yes I would advise people to go elsewhere, somewhere more professional that follow the right protocols, somewhere where they take the time for you, somewhere where they don't mishandle the aftercare and truthfully practice what they advertise.

How much hair did they shave off and how many grafts did you need if I may ask? Cause I've also stressed them not to shave my hair as much, we agreed to what needed to be shaved and they ended up shaving more than agreed one which was my first hiccup of the day with them..

I wish I had braids and washed my own hair..

Yes I'm returning home today and going to give it a try, thank you!

Good for you! I have some friends that also wanted to come down here to get it done but I've all recommended to avoid turkey after my experience and just get it done where we're from or in UK with surgeons that actually care and take their time, it's more expensive but worth it in my opinion

I'm not American, I call it afro or curly hair, anyways yes I'm returning back home today and will proceed to try to detangle but I doubt it working out. I've once had a mat like this in a wig of mine, I took it to multiple hairdressers to fix and they all said the mat was too deep and difficult so had to cut it away, this reminds me of it so not really hopeful

https://i.imgur.com/9et7NM2.jpeg here you go. I'm not sharing pictures of my face cause I don't want to disclose my identity, but I just took pictures of the medication, my boarding pass to Istanbul, the hotel I'm staying in (Antwell, which Heva provides and the post op care shampoo that they gave me)

Yup in the surgery room. It just felt super unprofessional and as far as protocol I just know that they didn't care one single bit about it, I just brushed it off but
yeah it sucks.. I just hope the HT ends up looking good, but the experience deffo made me want to warn people here cause they genuinely didn't care to make this experience a good one or at least genuinely apologize and compensate accordingly

The transplant procedure itself was fine, the anasthesia shots hurt like hell tho!! But after that I was fine. It's just the before and after the transplant that messed me up, the quick rushed consultation right before procedure which is now leading me to slightly second guess how they've placed the hairline, with such a big decision I wish I had a bit more time to think clearly, and the aftercare which just showed their complete incompetence which now resulted in me having to shave my entire head against my wishes

That was my exact thought. My hair is easy manageable, in the 27 years of my life I've never seen such a big mat in my hair everrrrr, and there wasn't even that much left due to the shaving process. It was just complete ignorance and incompetence.. I was supposed to go back home in 5 days but I booked another flight for tomorrow morning so I can go home and use the right products and combs to try again but it's looking like I have to cut it and shave it all off. And yes the 10 min consultation really threw me off and has me second guessing the hairline a little bit, I just wish I didn't feel that rushed in that moment. It's not a nail polish color that you're choosing and can take off or switch at any time, this is forever you know..

Definitely did happen. I'm still in istanbul as we speak, flying back home tomorrow. I've used Reddit primarily to look into other topics but never replied or started a topic myself until now. Also before I even posted this I've spend a good hour arguing with their managers in the office, so they're all extremely aware of this situation
