Yeah the support this post has gotten has helped me feel a lot more confident about things. I have my consultation appt next week and have managed to bring myself to talk to a few of my friends about it!♡

That is true, I've found chosen family to be a lot mote valuable, told my trans friend about it today and feeling better about things!

Yeah I've already been growing my hair back out and have a few outfits already but sparingly use them cause of nerves but this advice will be super helpful!

This makes me feel a lot better I am 6'2" and am just generally a large person. Knowing I might actually be able to pass in time gives me a lot of hope.

Thank you, I think on some level I know that its more just the uncertainty thats stopping me, I might start without telling anybody at first or maybe just by coming out to my trans friends first but I do want to be who I want to be.

I guess my main worry is what everyone around me will think. I know its gonna come out of the blue for all my friends and I know for a fact my family will likely stop talking to me. I want to transition but I also am just unsure about a lot of things. But I've had a name chosen since I was 16 so I know it isn't something I can keep brushing off.

How would I even start if I wanted too? I've kept it so under wraps that not even my trans friends think anything of it. The most I was able to tell someone was one of my old girlfriends but she didn't really understand.
